Several competitions were held during the M.I.A.S. event such as the Classic Car Competition, AUTOSPEED Custom Car Competition and the EMMA Mobile Media Sound Competition.

SINAG
On display in the lobby of the WTC was the Ford SINAG solar car, built by a group of faculty members and students from the mechanical engineering departments of De La Salle University, with support from Ford Phil., Motolite, Philippine Airlines, San Miguel Corp, Shell, Sunpower, U-Freight and Ventus, the first Philippine solar car made its debut in the World Solar Challenge 2007 in Australia.
