The mascot parade started at 3:00 pm from U.N. Avenue to Rajah Sulayman Park where they and other performers put on a show for the crowd of excited kids.











The Mascots received a warm welcome from excited kids and their parents who swarmed all over them to shake hands and take pictures with them.

On my way home after shooting the giant parols, I strolled over to Luneta to see what decorations were put up. The fountains were finally operational and are putting a light show, Christmas lights were hanging from the trees. And the three "icons" that symbolizes the Christmas season - The Christmas Tree, The Nativity Scene and Santa Claus.

These Giant Parols (Lanterns) displayed across Luneta are contest entries from different cities as part of the Paskong Pasko sa Manila 2007 project of the Dept. of Tourism.
