Binondo Suites Manila celebrated the coming of the "Year of the Rat" with a Street Party. Guest of Honor Mayor Alfredo Lim was unable to attend and sent Deputy Mayor Joey Silva to give the opening remarks to start the festivities.
This is the 4th consecutive year that Binondo Suites has done this. The celebration started off with a dragon and lion dance. Sponsors Alcatel & PLDT gave away gift packs as bands played all night for the crowd.
Special guest Giselle Sanchez and Feng Shui expert Joseph Chua gave tips for a lucky year of the rat.
A 10 minute fireworks display welcomed the Chinese New Year.
