Manila Hotel Easter Celebration

I attended a wedding reception in Manila Hotel last night and while waiting for the food to be served I walked around the hotel and came across this very cute display outside the coffee shop.

There were chocolates in various sizes shaped in a variety of Easter characters & designs. These goodies were so cute that I couldn't pass up the chance to take snapshots. (Oh and they're only available until April 8, 2007)

The Giant & The Large Egghouse

The Whole Egg & Opened Egg with Pralines

The Large Smiling Bunny

The Sinamay Boxes of Chocolates

The Easter Picture

The Easter Bunny Chocolate

The Bunny on Egg

The Swan

The Bunny with Easter Egg

The Donald Duck Chocolate

Yes, they are made of chocolate and very edible.

hi. i'm Miyu's cousin. it somewhat disappoints me that you have a better camera, yet you can't seem to take a picture without showing your reflection on the picture itself. but that takes practice. as for me, nah, i'm not that good. i'm just patient... and lucky!

i am a photojournalist by the way working freelance for a local newspaper in New York. i appreciate that you have the interest for photojournalism, and everything starts with taking photos with patience, precision, and more patience! a good education would be helpful... not to mention the thing called TALENT.

"Talent is a gift. Using it is not." that quote is from a famous art school in san francisco which, yes, also teaches photojournalism. use your talents well, man. because the way i see your photos, you've got a long, long way to go before you become a photojournalist, much more, a fulfilled one. :D

I agree. This was a bad pictorial. I was still having problems shooting in dimlight. The flash might annoy some of the guest so I couldn't use it often.

what reflection does "Miyu's Cousin" is talking about?

ah...critics...

with the particlar shots in question-- if reflections can't be avoided...better have photos than no photos at all...
